Obama Campaign Workers Angry Over Unpaid Wages

Tempers flared Wednesday as several hundred people who were doing last minute campaigning for Obama have not been paid yet. Police were called to the Obama campaign office on North Meridian Street downtown to control the crowd. "I want my money today! It's my money. I want it right now!" yelled one former campaign worker.

I suspect that what happened is that the money that they were promised to be paid were paid instead to other less deserving people- that Obama spread the wealth around.

A spokesman for the Obama campaign said 375 people were hired as part of the Vote Corps program and said people were promised a $30 pre-paid Visa card to get people to vote for Obama. The article did not make clear where the Visa cards came from or how they were tracked with regards to campaign finance, but I suspect that terrorists operating out of Kenya provided these cards to rubes to get more rubes to vote for the One, and then decided to keep the cards.
