Obama Nicknames

In my classes we've been talking about nicknames for Presidents as a way of better understanding how the public and the media viewed each President, and honestly, I couldn't think of any nicknames that are common usage for President Obama. I tried searching "President Nicknames," "Nicknames for Barack Obama," and "Nicknames for Obama", and although I got a lot of hits, it doesn't look like our nation has settled on any one name for him. I know we each have our own nickname for him that we might use in the privacy of our own home when our kids can't hear it, but in radio, TV, blogs, etc you don't see one nickname that everyone seems to be using for Obama. It's almost if the name "Obama" itself has become a nickname, it is usually said with either worship or bile.

For what it is worth, in my research, I did come across the following list of possible Obama nicknames at brainshavings.com, and thought I'd pass it on to my readers. For the record, my top three are "Waffles The Clown," "The Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers," and "Captain of the US Titanic Spending." Enjoy!
