Via TigerHawk, here is an updated look at the jobs picture. Remember, 1/3 of the job gains last quarter were the government hiring temporary census workers that are paid for by higher taxes or higher debt, both of which hurt the economy in the end. My prediction, for what it is worth, is for a double-dip recession that will never make it out of negative. I'm basing this on watching what liberal policies have done in Detroit, or in a larger sense, Michigan- I predicted long ago on this blog that this job situation would happen because that's what happens when you elect liberal Democrats to office.
