Hiroshima vs Detroit, 64 Years After WWII

This has been making the rounds lately, on email and in conversation, and I thought that you should all take a look at it. What the following site has done is compare dozens of pictures of Hiroshima and Detroit using two time periods- right after WWII and current days. It is stunning- Hiroshima went from being nuked to being a vibrant city full of life and growth. Detroit went from being a vibrant city full of life and growth to looking like a city that had been nuked. What the heck happened?

UPDATE from March 1, 2011: Apparently Glen Beck reads my blog, because he talked about this on his radio program and now the Detroit News has a bunch of editorials about this. I guess that means I am driving the media now- I honestly can't do any worse than Obama and the Democrat's driving of our country off a cliff over the last couple years.
