Here is another editorial that I emailed to the local newspapers in the hope that they'd put them in their "letter-to-the editor" section:
After this election, the Democrats will control the House and the Senate, and if Obama wins, they will have a chance to also control the White House too. We’ve all seen what happens when one party controls our entire government, and the results were not good. If you vote for Obama, realize you are voting for the Democrats to totally control our country and enact their agenda with no checks or balances. Vote McCain for divided government.
My hope is for a soft sell- I want to convince some of those people on the fence who like Obama to not vote for him because of a desire for divided government. Will it work? Don't know, but worth a try.
