Madaktari Africa works to create stronger, more self-sufficient communities in the developing world. Our physician-volunteers train local doctors to manage an expanding range of specialized medical needs. We help local caregivers learn the techniques and acquire the tools they need to care for the community. They can then teach others, creating a growing, self-propagating system of care. This process is proving to be a key element in helping these communities raise themselves from poverty to sustainable social and economic health.Image:Dr. Dilantha B.
