Oppose Gary Peters

Democrat Representative Gary Peters (9th Michigan) is not a bad person- but he has voted wrong on every single key issue of importance to his district.

He voted in favor of cap-and-trade, a bill that would increase taxes and fees on manufacturing in his district and transfer that money to windfarms in California, resulting in the loss of jobs in his district.

He voted in favor of the stimulus bill, a bill that spent over a trillion dollars that our government does not have, money that our children will have to pay back someday, and the result was unemployment above 10% and few jobs created.

He voted in favor of Obamacare, a bill that would add another trillion dollars to the debt and tax trillions more out of our economy in order to expand healthcare coverage to those people who aren't poor (they are already covered) and put in place thousands of new regulations and government bureaucrats to run the system.

On the major issues of the day, Gary Peters has voted the wrong way. He should not remain in Congress, and someone should throw him out of office in 2010.
