That's German for "Everything must be different!", and was a slogan of the Nazi Party in Germany in the 1930's. The desire for change is very strong with a lot of people, and they want to shout "Different!" "Change!" or "Revolution!" Here is a neat site to check out on this line of thought.
This will blow your mind- here are some highlights from the Party Platform for the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi Party), from the 1920's:
All citizens of the State shall be equal. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. The activities of the individual may not clash with the interests of the whole, but must proceed within the frame of the community and be for the general good.
Who does this sound like? Echo's of equality, demands that everyone will work for the state, and that the work and goods you produce must be viewed in terms of the general good.
Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in life and property, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as a crime against the people.
Huh, any candidates who are anti-war, and who talk about war profiteers?
It is really quite amazing when you read about fascists positions on the environment, capitalists, speculators, etc. Quite amazing. I don't quite know what to make of it.
