Obama is a Managed Infomercial

Listening to the radio today, I heard that the head of the Michigan Democrats, Mark Brewar, is putting pressure on delegates to not vote for Hillary if she goes ahead and puts her name on the first ballot at the Democratic Convention. First off, I thought that the law says that delegates have to vote for who won their state, at least on the first ballot. Maybe they waive rules or something? Or maybe Democrats really don't care about election laws? This silly over-compensation on Obama's part fits with what I know about him. I liked Democratic Superdelegate and MSU Trustee Joel Ferguson's comments on this- he said that Obama wants to "turn a political convention into a managed infomercial." That fits- Obama has thin skin and is unable to withstand pressure, and so avoids it at all costs. Incidentally, is McCain tough and able to withstand pressure? Which one should be President?
