Michigan Tea Party

I will not be able to go (I still have a job- one of the few people still employed in liberal-Democrat-run Michigan), but I wanted to let you all know about the Michigan Tea Party being held on Friday, February 27, 2009, where grassroots patriots from all across Michigan will join thousands across the nation in a "Nationwide Chicago Tea Party." It is from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Michigan State Capitol, 100 N. Capitol Ave, Lansing.

UPDATE: A great turnout! Only the America desire for freedom was needed, since there was little time to throw together an event like this, and the turnout and energy were great! You will have to read about this event on blogs, since the main newspapers didn't bother covering an event that cities all over the nation participated in, and in Michigan had several hundred people show up to. Instead, the Detroit News ran a story about Obama getting a new dog and the Detroit Free Press ran an article about how evil Laura Bush missed Obama's last speech. Nice work, MSM.
