The Gipper Reminds of What We are Fighting For

People email me from time to time with kind words about how good my blog is, how strong my writing is, and how much they find that my words really speak to them. I'll be honest- what I do is simply echo the writings of our Founding Fathers- some of my most powerful posts have been mere updatings of our Founding Documents- Federalist 10, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, etc. Our Founding Fathers were great people, because what they articulated like no group before or after was the human condition. And it falls to us today to try to live up to their ideal, which is to fully enable the human condition as much as possible through freedom and liberty.

The great Ronald Reagan, who was mocked throughout his Presidency as uneducated and unsophisticated, demonstrates how far our political elite has fallen in education and sophistication. The Republican Study Committee made the following video, contrasting clips by Ronald Reagan with today's leaders of the Democratic Party. It is timely and a good reminder of what we fight for.
