Lions Prediction

You heard it here first- this year the Lions are going 5-11. Why am I not drinking the Kool-Aid and eating the cornbread like everyone else in Detroit, who is predicting a playoff appearance? The same reason I didn't vote for Granholm like everyone else in this area- I'm not an idiot.

I've played enough Madden in my time to know that you win ball games with a good offensive line, a solid running game, stuffing the run on defense, and having playmakers at safety. The Lions suck in all these areas. They'll score some points on some teams, usually in the 4th quarter when they're way behind, but with no running game, they'll have way too many turnovers to be a dominant offense. And other teams will wear them down and put points on their weak secondary.

6-10. And that'll be just the hope and change that fans of Detroit football look for, so M&M will be back again, to finish the 09-10 season 5-11.
