Calling a Fascist a Fascist

Some people have emailed me, accusing me of being too hard on Obama. They think I'm seeing stuff that isn't there- that I am being paranoid, that I am making stuff up, or that I am just being silly. I'm not- if the media doesn't have the balls for it, I do- I'll call a fascist a fascist.

Today's Detroit News has two stories that bear out my argument. In the first, Nolan Finley writes about how back in the old days, class warfare wouldn't play well in our country, but today, Obama thrives on talking about class warfare and wealth redistribution. He doesn't say it, but the message is clear- Obama is a socialist.

The other article is about how Obama's thugs have been shutting down free speech in our country- that they have been suing those who don't agree with them, getting in the faces and yelling at those who disagree with them, and attempting to shut down media outlets that publish a viewpoint they don't like. The article doesn't say it outright, but the message is clear- Obama wants to control even what you say and think.

Combine the two, and you get a dictator who wants to control what you say and think, who sets up a cult of personality, and who promotes wealth redistribution and socialism- that's a fair description of a fascist in my book. Hey- if Obama started talking about free markets, or capitalism, or gun ownership as a right, or life, liberty, and property- if Obama started quoting our founding fathers more often than Stalin or Marx- then maybe I would be hesitant about saying this stuff. But a spade is a spade folks, and America is about to dig its own grave with one.
