Constitution Again Disregarded with Utter Disdain

Via the Vox Popoli blog comes this story, from this source:

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's qualifications to be president.... Surrick ruled that Berg lacked standing to bring the case, saying any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters."
First off, personally I find the statement "its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters" to be a little vague- couldn't the judge just outright state that it doesn't matter if Obama doesn't met the Constitutional qualifications to be President- he is a citizen of the world, and that's all that matters.

Second, why didn't the judge just say that Obama is qualified? How come he had to dismiss the lawsuit, claiming that an American citizen who is registered to vote doesn't have standing to call a candidate's eligibility into question? That's an odd response. Makes me suspect that maybe there is some truth to that rumor that Obama can't produce a birth certificate proving he is natural born.

This is kind of pissing me off- I don't like to be all paranoid and believing in conspiracy theories, and have laughed off the 'no birth certificate' one in the past- but then you get a ruling like this? Wow. Make your own inferences on it.
