Happy Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day, a day set aside to honor the veterans of our armed services who have done so much to keep our country safe. These veterans didn't have to see combat- anyone who served is a hero, for potentially risking life and limb for our security and freedoms.

Please thank a veteran today. Email a family member who served and say "Thank you for serving our country." If you see an old guy at a restaurant with a hat on that says "USS Enterprise" or a young guy with a Marines tattoo, buy them a piece of pie. Go to a parade or procession and cheer them on. There are some good movies on too- my favorite is "We Were Soldiers."
